Alliance Tower Defense beginner guide
The short version. Start by redeeming the free codes, then work through this.
1. How summoning and rarities work
Units come from the summon banner, crates, the Spin Wheel, the Robux shop and events. One roll costs 100 coins, ten rolls cost 850. Banner odds by tier: Basic 50%, Uncommon 35%, Rare 10%, Epic 4%, Legendary 1% (guaranteed by 100 rolls), Mythic 0.1% — and the only Mythic on the banner today is Titan Speaker Man 2.0. Codes give free coins, and coins buy more rolls, so redeem every active code before you start pulling. Until the community publishes clear-speed data, our tier list follows this rarity ladder plus documented placement costs: a 2,000$ Mythic is built to outperform a 100$ Basic.
2. Beginner progression, first hour
You start with Speaker Man. Play Easy mode matches to build coins, roll the banner for TV Man (the cheapest AOE unit) and an Epic like Large Camera Man, then push Medium and Hard. Insane and Crazy modes are where Legendary and Mythic units start to matter. Beat each mode for its badge and one-time rewards before moving up.
3. Crates and where they fit
Scientist Crates (and their free version) hold the Scientist Camera Man line — support-style units you will not find on the banner. Party Crates are event-limited and hold the Party family, including Party Titan TV Man at 0.25%. Open free crates whenever they refresh; save paid crates for when a banner or event you actually want is running.
4. What we are still tracking
Halloween Part 2 landed on October 17 with new units the community wiki has not documented yet, and trading values move daily in the Discord. Both are listed in the gaps section below — pages update as soon as reliable numbers exist.
